Prosthetics

Prosthetic restorations are divided in two categories: immovable and mobile.

Immovable restorations are permanently attached to the mouth and are preferred in cases when one or more teeth need to be protected (due to fracture, endodontic treatment, caries) or replaced (due to extraction).

They are manufactured in the dental laboratory either from porcelain with a metal support frame or a zirconium frame in cases where aesthetics play a primary role, or from all-ceramic only – porcelain materials.

Mobile restorations are not fixed inside the mouth, and are preferred in cases of the absence of many or all teeth.

They are usually a secondary option in the treatment plan, as they are not always easily accepted mainly due to their size.

Στόμα Γνάθος

All the above types of prosthetic restorations are applied at our place on a case-by-case basis either individually or cumulatively.

With the consent of the patient, the choice that will ensure the functional necessity combined with the best possible aesthetic result is proposed and applied.

The experienced medical staff is next to the patient to respond to any inquiry and provide information about their problem as well as to facilitate their treatment procedure.
